Red carpet fashion from the RTS Republic of Ireland Awards
Hosted by Dermot Whelan, the 2024 Royal Television Society Republic of Ireland Awards / Gradaim took place in the Dublin’s Liberty Hall Theatre on Tuesday, March 19.
Originally founded in London as the Television Society in 1927, the Irish centre was launched in 1995. These particular awards seek to recognise Irish productions and international co-productions which are considered by peer jury members to have made a positive contribution worthy of acclaim by the industry and Irish viewers.
Last night’s ceremony honoured the outstanding achievements in Irish television programming over the past year and highlighted the many talented professionals in our television industry.
With awards recognising those working across factual series, scripted shows, news coverage, current affairs, and more, the night saw 11 winners spread across RTÉ, Virgin Media, Sky Ireland and TG4. You can see the full list of winners here.
The red carpet welcomed Louise Cantillon, Muireann O’Connell, Katja Mia, Brian Dobson and many more familiar faces.
