Ireland AM won the Entertainment Award for their groundbreaking AI special, which saw the show’s script become AI-driven back in December.

Muireann and Tommy were thrilled with the achievement as they accepted the award.

The Limerick native took to Instagram after the star-studded ceremony to share some stunning snaps.

The popular presenter looked jaw-dropping wearing a pink square neck bodycon midi dress and gold sandal heels.

Herself and Tommy huddled in close to pose for a smiling photo on the red-carpet.

The former rugby star looked dapper wearing a green polo-neck knit top, black trousers and a navy blazer.

Muireann captioned her post: “Work debs.”

Last Friday RTE Late Late Show viewers were left “laughing out loud” as Patrick Kielty forced Tommy to perform on air.

The Ireland AM star and his rugby pal Donncha O’Callaghan were both in the hot seat on the hit chat show.

In 2009, the rugby player was part of the Grand Slam winning Irish team who took home the title for the first time since 1948.

The squad, which included Brian O’Driscoll and Ronan O’Gara, were hailed as sporting heroes, with a massive public reception on their return from Wales.

TV LAUGHS

They flew back to Ireland to visit Mansion House and Tommy ended up drunk on TV singing The Dubliners hit song Black Velvet Band.

Tommy stood up in front of his team and shouted “What about her eyes?” before belting out the tune but no one joined in.

The hilarious clip was shown on the Late Late Show tonight which left Tommy cringing as he said: “It doesn’t get any easier does it?”

However, Patrick had an ulterior motive for bringing up the embarrassing moment.

The Down native said: “The problem with that was that you didn’t actually have a full trad band accompanying you and if you did had a trad band accompanying you and you had people to sing along, I think that would get a lot easier.”

‘FUSSY’

Patrick handed Tommy a mic and prompted him to sing as the live trad band started to play the song live in the studio.

Tommy was very hesitant and said: “Oh no, no, no.”

He attempted to return the mic to Patrick and said “You start it off.”

But Patrick insisted Tommy to do it.

And although Tommy had previously refused the impromptu performance, he then suddenly shouted out at the band to stop saying: “Hold on, can we start that again.”

Patrick was in fits of laughter saying: “Oh I love this. He didn’t want to sing and now he’s getting fussy.”

Tommy explained himself saying: “We have to have, ‘What about her eyes’ surely?”
