The Department for Infrastructure and Translink have been “given two weeks” to present a pay rise to unions, otherwise strike action by public transport workers will go ahead at the end of the month.
Union leaders set the deadline during a meeting with company bosses, during which unions also rejected a plea from Translink to suspend strike action due to take place across three days from February 27-29.
