Wembanyama, 19, logged 21 points and 20 rebounds in the Friday matchup, causing Bulls centers plenty of trouble.

“It’s a little bit unfair how he rebounds [with] us around him,” Nikola Vucevic said after the game.

“There was some rebounds, I was just … there was nothing I could do. Granted, I’m not a high jumper or anything, but still.”

Wemby achieved the feat just 20 games into his NBA career and is now only the second teenager to do so.

Previously, the youngest NBA player to register a 20-20 game was Dwight Howard.

Howard accomplished it 23 days before turning 20 during the 2005-06 NBA campaign, his sophomore year in the league.

Wembanyama put up numbers unseen since Shaquille O’Neal to start his rookie season.

In his first 20 NBA games, he averaged 19.0 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.7 blocks.

At the same time, he’s been enduring the worst losing streak of his basketball career.

The Spurs haven’t won a game since Wemby’s 38-point performance in the 132-121 win over the Phoenix Suns on November 2.

They have lost 16 straight games and counting.

After the Friday win over San Antonio, Bulls star DeMar DeRozan said the young Spurs team will eventually overcome the growing pains.

“They’re going to have it. They’re going to get it,” DeRozan said.

“The experience that they’re gaining. I know it sucks for them right now losing, but with that you gain experience and understanding of what it takes to be winners and what it takes to close out games.”
