Marino College art students travel to the Dead Zoo for some artistic inspiration. In studio, Holly helps students with their fantastical animal hybrid masks while Shane meets pupils of Maryfield College who are creating Pop Art portraits using household ingredients and 3D head-sculptures, inspired by the Cubist movement.
While in Dublin, Moses travels to Photo Museum Ireland to meet with photographer Mark Duffy to discuss the political power of faces and how Irish politicians use this in political advertising.
Artist-in-residence Ross Carvill works with pupils from St Edna’s Primary School to create collage self-portraits from magazine cutouts.
