The Dalles Art Center presents author Eileen Garvin on Thursday, March 16, at 7 p.m., to discuss her best-selling debut novel “The Music of Bees.” The Oregonian says “Garvin’s characters ring true, as does her depiction of the Hood River Valley, which gives this novel a unique sense of place. The Music of Bees is just the book to sink into when you need inspiration and restoration.”
